Amid the rapidly-evolving field of military space operations, Beijing and Washington are preparing for the possibility of conflict extending into space. Militaries now view satellites as possible dynamic weapons capable of launching attacks to disrupt operations with lasers or other technology. OpenAI has determined ‌that one of its upcoming models is so capable it requires additional safety measures before it can be launched. The model can spot more security vulnerabilities than the most advanced OpenAI model publicly available today. Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani's consumer goods business has launched an ice cream ‌brand, entering a market that includes major global brands such as Magnum and Baskin-Robbins as it deepens its push into packaged goods. Japan's Honda aims to cut more than $9 billion in costs over the next four years and has instructed suppliers to drastically reduce their prices, according to internal documents and one person familiar with ‌the matter. BP has appointed Ian Tyler, former ‌CEO of building group Balfour Beatty, as its permanent chairman after firing Albert Manifold in May, citing governance and conduct concerns.
